Land Rover has unveiled its latest updates for the 2025 Defender, introducing an array of luxurious upgrades and a more powerful diesel engine With these enhancements, the Defender continues its evolution, positioning itself closer to the opulent Range Rover in terms of comfort and features.
Interior Indulgence with the Signature Interior Pack
The interior of the Defender sees substantial upgrades, especially with the introduction of the Signature Interior Pack. Now available across various trims, this premium package includes climate controlled seats adorned with redesigned winged headrests and is standard on the XV8 and the special Sedona Edition trims.
The pack enhances the cabin’s luxury with Windsor leather and Covadrad upholstery complemented by ultra fabrics and suede cloth headlining. For added convenience, new storage pockets have been integrated alongside the center console.
Powertrain Enhancements with the D350 Engine
Land Rover has also revised the powertrain options for the Defender, notably with the new D350 model which features a mild hybrid 3.0 liter 6 cylinder diesel engine. Producing an impressive 345 horsepower and 516 LB Feet of torque, this marks a significant boost over the previous D300 model, enhancing the SUVS performance and overtaking and towing scenarios.
Sedona Edition: A One-Year Wonder for the Defender 110
Exclusively available for one year, the Defender 110 introduces the Sedona Edition which boasts a Sedona Red exterior and unique decals. Inspired by the Arizona desert, This edition is further distinguished by 22 inch gloss black alloy wheels and an extended black pack for the exterior.
Increased Comfort and Convenience with Captain Chairs Pack for Defender 130
Emphasizing its rugged yet refined aesthetic furthermore, the 2025 updates include a new Captain Chairs pack for the Defender 130, transforming it from an 8 seater to a more spacious 7 seater. This option features individual 2nd row seats with heating and cooling, facilitating comfort for longer journeys and easier access to the third row.
Land Rover Hints at a V8-Powered Off-Road Focused Defender
Currently available in the UK and Europe, these updates are expected to extend to North American models soon. Additionally, Land Rover hints at an upcoming V8 powered off road focused Octa model. Promising even more robust capabilities for adventure enthusiasts.
