Ampere recently launched its new flagship electric scooter, Nexus, in India. This scooter is based on Ampere’s NXG concept. It will be launched on 30 April 2024, this scooter is the flagship offering of Ampere. Nexus not only has a modern and stylish design but it is also equipped with many advanced features.
Ampere Nexus Flagship Attractive Design and Modern Features
Ampere Nexus comes with an attractive and sporty design. It features a slim design with sharp lines, simple panels and all-LED lighting. The scooter has a large seat and flat floorboard.
Apart from this, it has 12-inch alloy wheels and is likely to come with a TFT display. The scooter has telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the setup of disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear has been provided.
Ampere Nexus Flagship Strong performance and Long Range
Nexus is a strong performance scooter. It is likely to have a mid-mounted permanent magnet motor that will deliver between 4 to 6 kW of peak power. 
The scooter will have four ride modes, and is set to achieve a top speed of around 90 kmph in full power unlocking mode.
Although the range has not been officially announced yet, But it is expected that this scooter can cover a distance of between 110 to 140 kilometers in a single charge.
Ampere Nexus Flagship Advanced Battery Technology
The Nexus scooter comes with an LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate) battery pack. The scooter will also have a passive cooling system that will keep the battery, motor and motor controller cool.
Ampere Nexus Flagship Smart and Connected Scooters
Nexus is designed as a smart and connected scooter. It is expected to have a large TFT display which will show important information like speed, battery level, odometer, trip meter and navigation.
The scooter can also be connected to a mobile app, Due to which facilities like remote lock/unlock, charging status and ride history will be available.
Ampere Nexus Flagship Attractive price and great options
It is estimated that the price of Nexus will be higher than Ampere Primus, Which is currently selling for Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom). Nexus can be a great option for those looking for a feature-packed, powerful and stylish electric scooter.
